About the Artwork/s

This series is part of an ongoing theme about a mature, boring, adult dinner party from the perspective of an invited child. The process was inspired by the game pin the tail on the donkey, which is described as an attempt to aim something somewhere, this version was made using cut out human body parts to slowly create the different layers for the pieces.

About the Artist

Dana Bote (b. 1994) is a visual artist based in Manila. Her works exhibit peculiar and paradoxical ways to show a person’s chaotic inner world in calm, mundane, and sometimes, grotesque subjects.
