Interdependence of Being
Modeka Art is pleased to announce the group show entitled “Interdependence of Being”, featuring the artworks of Eugene Jarque, Lui Gonzales, Lynyrd Paras, and Mac Valdezco.
The exhibition is a take on connection – be it human or mechanical, imagined or real. Consistently throughout history, human beings have naturally been social creatures and have utilized social groups and gatherings to survive and thrive for centuries. At present, connection has become more than just a means of survival and has taken form in various ways. For instance, finding identity in faith that transcends the self and promotes a sense of community between believers, the interrelation between man and creation through nurturing the natural environment, or even one’s dependence with technology.
Interdependence of Being is on view from December 10,2020 – January 16, 2021.
