Group Exhibition | Years Later
In collaboration with DF Art Agency, Modeka Art is proud to present “Years Later” featuring artists Angelo Quintos, Tita Halaman, and Yanna.
Time is a continuous sequence of existence. It is an irreversible succession of pasts, events, or instances occurring in the present, and the future being a mere hazy vision of what’s to come. During these trying times and in order to cope with uncertainty, it is common for one to refocus on themselves and pursue their strongest passions. “Years Later” is not an exhibition about time, but rather the time used into pursuing one’s passion – diving deep into each of the artists’ personal intimacies with art.
YEARS LATER is on view from September 25 to October 16, 2021.

ABOUT THE ARTIST | Angelo Quintos
Angelo Quintos is a young visual artist based in the Philippines. His enthusiasm in creating the beautiful, the creative, and the memorable have always been the main drivers of his work. For Quintos, his talent and passion for the arts are a gift and his ability to express himself through the use of various mediums best represent his life in just two words: No limits.
“I am not pursuing perfection through my paintings; rather I strive to create what is true.” – Angelo Quintos.
ABOUT THE ARTIST | Tita Halaman
Dark, melancholic figures coupled with loud, textured strokes of paint overlapping it’s frame is an easily recognizable style from Tita Halaman. Her paintings, accompanied with an original hand-written poem, conveys the beauty of faith and hope during difficult situations, inspiring positive messages and motivation to her audience. Her burning passion for art is traced back to her childhood days. Being awkward and introverted, she discovered the profound language of art, illustrating figures of words she wished she could reveal.
“I don’t talk that much and all I do is just get my notebook and pencil, draw some figures representing those words I wanted to voice out. My burning passion for art, it all started there.” – Tita Halaman.
ABOUT THE ARTIST | Yanna
Yanna is a young and emerging visual artist based in Antipolo. Her paintings evoke dreamlike states and figures, inspired by Pop Surrealism. Despite being a fresh face, Yanna is unafraid to dive deep into her subconscious and dexterity, which then enables her to combine the fluidity of the surreal with the hard-set authenticity of real-life events.
