Eugene Jarque, an art educator, creates forms in his exploration of texture and shapes, order and balance while experimenting with different media in his works. He obtained his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Technological University of the Philippines. Aside from being a faculty member of his alma mater, he has also exhibited in solo and group shows since 1994. He was a 2006 Thirteen Artist Awardee of the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP).
