Always inspired by his urban explorations, Art Tavera’s trademark bold font and colour palette can be found all over Jakarta and Metro Manila as large-scale mural and graffiti paintings.

It was with these that he helped spark or bring the brewing graffiti movements up to the surface within both cities. He had his first exhibit in Jakarta's Museum Nasional and has earned recognition from the international graffiti community. While initially focused on conventional graffiti letter structuring, his hunger to bring his mode of visual communication to more transformative and progressive platforms currently has him exploring experimental methods with a more abstract, organic and raw approach.
