As a contemporary abstract artist, I work hard to develop paintings that turn the energy I have into something beautiful, something that can be explained in a thousand ways -therefore, I paint abstract works, works that have no concrete form. Through the different lines, colors, splatters, spill marks, splatters, and heavy textures that I use, I want to be able to breathe life and add character into the flat surface that I constantly work with. I want to show through my artworks that there is order in disorder and harmony in chaos. I want people to resonate with the works that I make. I want my audience to feel something, whenever they see my works because that, I believe is what true art is all about. For me, art is life and art brings me back to earth. Art centers me and makes me more of who I am. Every time I finish work, I make sure that I leave a piece of myself in them.

Heredia, who recounts Jackson Pollock, Jose Joya and Jason Martinas, her inspirations. As a young artist, she also has taken pointers from Jigger Cruz and Jason Montinola.
