Valdezco also works with yarn straws plastics and whatever may come her way. She similarly explores new media in her paintings. Valdezco graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the Technological University of the Philippines in 1997, and since then, has been actively showing in solo and group exhibits. She was the a CCP thirteen artist Awardee in 2006, and was thrice shortlisted in the Ateneo Art Awards. She also won the grand price in Sculpture in the AAP Annual Art Competition in 2003.
