A grim reminder that when everything has come to pass, we are the same underneath.
13 Lucky Monkey has been forging this symbol for more than a decade – on rings, regalia, and all forms of memento mori. And in their 13th year, 13 Lucky Monkey has invited a select group of individuals: artist friends who have been part of their journey, in one form or another, to celebrate the barest of forms. Modeka Art is happy to announce 13X13, an exhibition in collaboration with 13 Lucky Monkey featuring the works of Auggs Fontanilla, Egg Fiasco, Jason x Victoria Montinola, Jojo Barja, Kiko Escora, Leeroy New, Lynyrd Paras, Marionne Contreras, Miguel Nanawa, Paolo Icasas, Poklong Anading, and Quiccs. The show will be featuring 13 skull sculptures, each unique and made in the respective techniques of the artists.

ABOUT 13 LUCKY MONKEY
A collective of artists specializing in painting, sculpture, and other forms of design, 13 Lucky Monkey was established eleven years ago by sculptor Noli Coronado and Dante Dizon. Pushing the limits of craft and design, the collective has gained popularity in making jewelry. However, their masterpieces are the opposite of the elegant charm of fine jewelry. 13 Lucky Monkey produces works that flourish in their own daring and bold characteristics.
