As The Day Unfolds

Resty Tica is an artist born in Manila. He graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Fine Arts major in Advertising at the Technological University of the Philippines (T.U.P.) in 1999. He admires and is influenced by the works of Filipino painters, Vicente Manansala and Jose Joya; and American painters, Willem de Kooning and Cy Twombly. Tica’s residence and studio in Quezon City is where he finds home – in his family and art.
