NFT | NO FRILLS TOMORROW
Modeka Art is proud to present “NFT (No Frills Tomorrow)”, a group exhibition curated by Manuel Ocampo featuring Gerry Tan, Jeona Zoleta, Erik Encinares, Lyle Buencamino, Bud Omeng, Yolanda Tabanera, Pablo Milicua, Herve di Rosa, Jigger Cruz, Koki, Pow Martinez, Roy Veneracion, and Redd Nacpil.
Playing around with the hype and buildup of NFTs, “NFT (No Frills Tomorrow)” integrates a black-and-white palette that highlights the importance of line, shape, texture, form, space, value, and materiality—the essentia of visual art. The exhibit features the diversity of expression that is founded on simplicity and artistry.
“I thought it would be interesting to see what they will come up with. Making a work of art that is reduced to the most elemental structures: line, form, light and dark. A no frills approach to art making” - Manuel Ocampo
NFT | No Frills Tomorrow is on view from May 27, 2021 – June 19, 2021.
