TELEVISED
Modeka Art is pleased to present the group exhibition “Televised” featuring Frelan Gonzaga, Roan Alvarez, Ginoe, and Miguel Puyat opening July 24, Saturday.
Utopia - a term coined by philanthropist Thomas More from the 14th century, this word is often used to describe an imaginary place of ideal perfection or a society that possesses highly desirable or a nearly perfect quality of life for all.
In a world filled with war, corruption, overconsumption, global warming, and other alarming issues, utopia is an inconceivable concept as societies are bound to be flawed due to the imperfections of the human race.
“Televised” is an exhibition that highlights each of the artists’ personal ideas of the perfect society, exploring each of their desires for a better world.
TELEVISED is on view from July 24, 2021 – August 21, 2021.
