MODEKA ART'S OPEN HOUSE
Inspired by the Artist Open House movement that started in Brighton, UK in the early 80s’, the initiative will run for two weeks and over three weekends, and it will showcase a diverse rotating selection of artworks and creative materials.
In consideration of the limitation in movement as a consequence of the ongoing heightened restrictions, this September we decided to transform all the exhibition rooms of the gallery into a more collaborative space. Artists and makers are invited to exhibit their work in an open-concept fashion, and visitors are encouraged to engage with and buy directly from the artists.
Each weekend across the duration of the event, new artists, makers, and creatives, will take over so that visitors can expect to see something new on each and every visit.
Modeka Art will be donating 20% of the gallery share to Art Rocks, an initiative for charity by art collectors to help indigent families with hospital fees for surgery at St. Luke’s Hospital.
OPEN HOUSE is on view from September 4, to September 19, 2021.
To book a private viewing or to request for the digital catalogue, use the forms below or contact us at info@modeka.space or (+63) 956 174 9185.
