Throughout history, angels have been a significant part of our spiritual culture. They are intermediaries between God and humans. Represent them as guardians, messengers, and rebels.
Perhaps angelology is a closer examination of the celestial symbol's power over a human.
I think the concept of angels is the manifestation of moral virtues located in our intrapersonal space. As we search within ourselves for the levels of truth to not only be good but also have the capability of malevolence. I think the complexity of ego plus divinity allows us to perceive the different fundamental ways of interpreting reality.
Our inherent faith in religion shares society's perspective not only on what is right and wrong but also on the distinction between good and evil.

About the Artists.
Reuel Rendon (b. 1983) is a self-taught painter. His works investigate the limits of human psychology and are concerned with locating ideas in their ambiguous state, existing between abstract and concrete realities.
Artist Statement.
“I appropriated the angels from the works of the Old Masters between the Renaissance and the Rococo era. Where the most produced of different versions of biblical representations. I present my work with concentric elements and experiment with glass.”
