Too Many things

Modeka Art is proud to present “Too Many Things”, a group exhibition featuring A.LIEN, Jel Suarez, Miles Villanueva, Pablo Bermudez, and TG Villanueva.

Similar to how magazines, newspapers, or collected objects (acquired and curated instruments that are pivotal to creating collage art), are encapsulated moments of a time -- the exhibition presents a collection of collage pieces that epitomizes the artists' own interpretation of inactivity and silence.

The focus is to explore the juxtaposition between the process of creating a collage – an art form comprised of many elements and pieces put together to create a new whole, and the moment of idleness that comes with internalizing how the piece would come together.

Too Many Things is on view from June 26, 2021 – July 19, 2021.
